Lucille I. (LaForge) Lavoie

LEWISTON – Lucille I. (LaForge) Lavoie of Lisbon, Maine died of dementia on Feb. 15, 2024. She was 84 years old.

She was born August 6, 1939 in Caswell, Maine, the daughter of Thomas and Leona LaForge. She married her late husband Shanel Lavoie on Nov. 26, 1956.

Lucille worked for many years at Liberty Mutual, then she and her husband volunteered at The Norlands in Livermore for many years.

She loved her family very much. She is survived by her son Scott Lavoie and his wife Paula. She was predeceased by her older son Thomas, and is survived by his wife Kathy Lavoie.

She has five sisters and two brothers, Al, Theresa, Joan, Barbara, Annette, Doreen and Danny. She has four grandchildren, Phillip, Scot, Darian and Cassandra, and three great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed.
