Anna Herrick, Nurse Practitioner

BETHEL — Ms. Anne Herrick, Adult Nurse Practitioner, MaineHealth, will deliver an introductory presentation on Parkinson’s disease with a focus on early signs, diagnosis, treatments, and support resources on Thursday, March 7 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Bethel Congregational Church, 32 Church Street, Bethel. A snow date is set for March 14. This event is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome.

Ms. Herrick has worked at Maine Medical Partners Neurology in Scarborough for ten years. She specializes in the care of patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Her presentation covers a broad view of Parkinson’s including early signs and symptoms (motor and non-motor), treatments, the role of exercise and healthy eating, and support services available in Maine for Parkinson’s patients and their families. A question-and-answer period will follow.
