Chad Lyons

RUMFORD – Chad Lyons, 50, died Wednesday Feb. 14, 2024, at the Hospice House in Auburn. He was a resident of South Rumford Road in Rumford.

Chad was born in Cooperstown, NY, the son of Harry and Louise (Colwell) Lyons. He was a graduate of Milford Central School and worked for Nine Dragons Paper Mill as a Back Tender. He enjoyed forging knives and playing bass guitar.

Chad is survived by his fiancé Dawn Estes of Rumford; sons, Cody Lyons of Oneonta, NY and Aighdan Weishar of Bethel, daughters, Shaylyn Weishar of Lewiston, Gabby Marston of Rumford, Jaiden Warner of Rumford; a sister, Kim White and husband Jonathan of Graham, NC; stepfather Keith Storey of Davenport Center, NY; and a granddaughter Juniper Marston of Rumford; a stepsister Emily Storey of Davenport Center, NY; and a niece Jenna Garcia and her wife Sandra of Schenectady, NY.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Rumford Hotel, Canal Street in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME.
