Gregory Stewart
PERU – Gregory Stewart, 67, died Saturday Feb. 17, 2024, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. He was a summer resident of Greenwoods Road in Peru and spent his winters in Florida.
Gregory was born on Dec. 11, 1956, in Rumford, and was a son of Everett and Helen (Morin) Stewart. He served in the US Navy and was a salesman for many years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriot fan. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing sports and was known for being an accomplished skier.
He was married in Rumford on July 5, 1991, to Patti Thompson who survives of Peru and Mulberry, Fla. Other survivors include stepdaughter, Tricia Blouin and husband Brian of Mulberry, Fla. and daughter Natasha Stewart of Monmouth, sons, Zachary Stewart and wife Sarah of Manchester, and Nathaniel Stewart of Readfield; sisters Louise Miller of Andover and Deborah Morang and husband John of Dixfield, brothers, Harold Stewart and wife Polly of Bemus Point, NY, James and wife Debbie of Weld, Everett Stewart and wife Brenda of Topsham and Gary Stewart and wife Brenda of Standish; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Gloria Penney and a brother-in-law Lorenzo “Junior” Miller.
