ANSWER: I do hope all my senior Sun Spotters will peruse this catalog of unique offerings that the Lewiston-Auburn Senior College has carefully collected. DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m having a problem balancing my checking account. What should I do? — Joan, no town

ANSWER: I really hate when that happens! The best thing you can do is call your financial institution and they should be able to assist you. You may have to make an appointment to spend time with a customer service representative. They are there to help you untangle it all.

Going forward, you may want to enlist the help of a trusted family member or friend to check your math on a regular basis, say once or twice a month.
