With one week left in the regular season, The Mountain Valley Rec Basketball League has three teams vying for the top three spots. Hotel Rumford is in the lead with an 11-2 record as they easily beat Jay (4-9), 84-47. Smart Care PT, Inc. is in 2nd place as the result of a tiebreaker at 10-3, as they handily dispatched Dixfield (2-11), 105-73. A & G Custom Cabinets and Carpentry (10-3) took over sole possession of 3rd place, pounding 4th place Mt Blue (9-4), 106-69. Clean Cut Painting is in 5th place at 6-7, while pasting Stix and Stones (0-13), 100-69.

The top scorers for all teams are as follows: Hotel Rumford, Tom Danylik with 16 points, Owen Jones with 12, and JT Taylor with 12. Jay, Steve Dougher 15 points (5 threes), Levi Armandi with 10. Smartcare, Cody St Germain 41 points, Trent Hutchinson 28 (3 threes), and Jeremy St Germain 17 (3 threes). For Dixfield. Eric Richard had 27 points (5 threes), Dom Haines with 20, and Jake Bessey had 19. For A & G, Malik Farley had 32 points, Hunter Meeks, 22, Keegan Pitcher with 18 (4 threes), Mateo Lapointe, 15, and Draven Finnegan with 11. Mt Blue, Cam Sennick 23 points, Justin Evens with 22, JT Williams 12, and Eric Berry 11. Clean Cut Painting: Will Bean, 28 points, Mike Pare, 23 (4 threes), Ryan Kimball with 22, Sean Caddigan, 17, and Ryan Savage with 10. Stix n Stones, Jamie Downs had 21 (5 threes), Trey Lane with 15, Cody Dolloff, 14 (4 threes), and Dan LeBreton had 12.
