The Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Association is set to meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Lewiston High School’s Green Ladle, 156 East Ave.
The cost for a meal at this event is $19 in advance, or $20 at the door.
Laura Johnson from Seniors’ Plus will be the meeting’s speaker.
Those who plan to attend are asked to make checks payable to AREA, and mail them to Gina Fuller, 36 Elliott Ave, Lewiston, ME 04240.
AREA meets five times per year: September, October, November, March and April. Dues cost $10 per year for educators and $6 for non-educator spouses or partners. Dues are payable in September.
All who have served in the education profession are welcome: teachers, assistant teachers, guidance counselors, librarians, principals. One does need not have taught in Androscoggin County, or even in Maine.
