Mexico Congregational Church, UCC, at 163 Main St., is set to host a public takeout meal Saturday, March 9, as a fundraiser for refinishing the flood-damaged dining room.
A serving will consist of a pint of corn chowder, homemade biscuit, and a slice of pie for $10. The pie choices will be apple, chocolate cream, blueberry, custard or peanut butter.
Pickups will be available from 4-6 p.m. To order in advance, call 207-364-8603; provide a name, phone number, choice of pie, and preferred time for pickup.
Orders can be picked up on the main floor of the church, using the ramp from the parking lot or the entrance on Main Street near the sign on the lawn.
