Jeffrey John Palmer
PORTLAND – Jeffrey John Palmer, 62, of Norway passed away on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024 at Maine Medical Center. He was born in Waterville on Nov. 15, 1961, son of Kurt and Joyce (Nelson) Palmer. Jeff graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1980 with his lifelong best friend Sparky (Lynn Parsons).
He enjoyed his careers of cross country trucking and operating heavy equipment. This allowed Jeff, with the contribution of many friends and family, to build a home in Norway using lumber harvested and milled from his
land. In return his friends were never without his homegrown freshly boiled syrup, or a helping hand. His passions included collecting and working on vintage skidoo, John Deere, and chevy trucks. He enjoyed books by Stephen King and driving his Harley down to the lake store to pick up dinner.
Jeff is survived by his mother Joyce; brother James (wife Susan); nephews Nicholas and Jonathan; and countless others in his memories.
To pay respects please join the family at Jeff’s home on April 20, 2024, anytime after noon for a pig roast to celebrate his life. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris.
Online condolences may be shared with his family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com.
