Bob—and Anne—always championed the rights of society’s marginalized.

In his final days, Bob joked that in lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Planned Parenthood, in the name of Samuel Alito (www.weareplannedparenthood.org). We don’t think he was joking. Also, FINCA (The Foundation for International Community Assistance) an organization which makes small business loans to women in underdeveloped countries, (www.finca.org/); Doctors Without Borders (www.donate.doctorswithoutborders.org/secure/donate); or The Preble Street Shelter (www.preblestreet.org/donate/), for use in helping homeless teens and adults in Maine are groups that he valued and supported.
