Pauline A. Collet

AUBURN – Pauline A. Collet, 89, of Auburn, passed away on March 7, 2024.

She was born in Lewiston, the daughter of Eugene and Ida (Blais) Dionne on June 19, 1934. She attended and graduated from St. Dominic High School. Pauline was a devote member of The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul all of her life.

She worked at L/A Tire and VIP for over 30 years before her retirement. She loved to play beano and cards but loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anything.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Ouellette of Greene, a son, Bertrand Ray of Greene; three grandchildren, Angelena Ray, Jessie Castonguay, and Kendra (Ray) Longchamps; three great-grandchildren, Lyla Gagne, Kambree and Adlee Longchamps.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Collet; her daughter-in-law, Maureen Ray; a brother, Roland Dionne, three sisters, Ella Martel, Rita Robert and Lorraine Dionne.

The family invites you to a time of visitation on Wednesday March 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Fortin Group’s newest location, Pinette, Dillingham and Lynch, 305 Alfred Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 14 at 11 a.m. at The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, Ash St. Lewiston (Lower Chapel) immediately followed by a committal service at St. Peters Cemetery in Lewiston.
