BETHEL — The Bethel Library’s first fundraiser of 2024, Bethel Library Spring Fling, is an inaugural event with something for everyone and will be held from March 21 to March 23. It’s a ticket raffle that will allow participants to win several spring-themed items. It will be held at the library on Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22 from 12 to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, the 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. That afternoon, we’ll draw the winning tickets, beginning at 12:45 p.m.
During these three days, please stop by to say ‘hello’, enter the ticket raffle, have some refreshments, and, if you haven’t already, acquire your shiny, new library card. Yes, this is the card that replaces your former library card, and in addition to our catalog, it gives the holder complete access to all that the Maine Infonet Library System (MILS) has to offer.
What could you win? One prize is a backpack-style picnic set for 4. Another is fishing gear with a fishing pole and a full tackle box. Yet another is a solar eclipse tote bag with a mug, glasses, and booklet. Another is lawn games. Then there’s a bird feeder; there are spring-inspired kitchen items, and there is much more!
Please contact Susan at this address or 207-890-7243 with any questions. Thank you.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
