Marshall’s music career spans five decades and the guitarist has been a full time musician his entire adult life. With an affinity early on for blues, rock and 60’s pop, he honed his chops in the gin mills of New England and put out his first record in ‘87. He went national with guitarist Toy Caldwell in ‘89, touring the US with Charlie Daniels and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He has fronted the Bruce Marshall Group since 1991, bringing his band to represented New England at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2008. Marshall also won the regional solo category with a trip to Memphis in 2010. He was awarded an ASCAP Songwriter award in 1991 and recently put out his seventh record “Borrowed Time” in 2018. He still performs over 200 shows a year.
