PARIS — U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Biologist Hannah Mullally plans to give a talk about supporting Maine’s native fauna, “Backyard Biodiversity: Tips for a Wildlife Friendly Landscape,” at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, in the meeting space of the Oxford County Cooperative Extension, 9 Olson Road.

This evening aims to teach people to create a harmonious habitat by providing essential food and shelter to pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. Mullally will also highlight the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program, which provides free technical and financial assistance to landowners, managers, tribes, corporations, schools and nonprofits interested in improving wildlife habitat on their land.

Participants will receive a package of wildlife food plot mix, which they can use to establish their own food plot this spring.

This event costs $10 per person, which includes a bag of wildlife food plot seed mix. Register at oxfordcountyswcd.org no later than Tuesday, March 26.
