We in Maine now understand that the state of mind of Robert Card was not understood or ignored; so many people were killed in the mass shooting in Lewiston that took place last year.
That shooting is still clear in our minds as an act of horror we never want repeated.
Now, Donald Trump has clearly stated in a public speech on a national broadcast and reported that a bloodbath will take place if he is not elected president. He also stated clearly in that speech his support for those who violently acted to take over the government when he was not reelected president for a second term.
Should we ignore Donald Trump’s obvious support for threats of violence?
