LIVERMORE – Tyler James Chute, 22, a resident of Livermore, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his home. He was born April 17, 2001, in Lewiston, the son of Tammy Mercier and Kris Chute. He was a 2019 graduate of Spruce Mountain High School in Jay. Tyler worked in the sales department at Curaleaf in Auburn. He enjoyed the outdoors and would often sit by the water for hours. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dog “Maggie”. He will be remembered for his kind-heartedness and his loving nature. His sudden passing has left a void within his family that can never be replaced.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy Mercier of Livermore, his father, Kris Chute of Monmouth, his siblings, Kayley Mercier of Canton, Jayden Brasier of Portland, Julia Mercier of Livermore Falls, Scott Mercier of Oxford, Dwain Sykes of Massachusetts, Emma Chute of Lewiston and a baby sister on the way, paternal grandmother, Marie Lawrence, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Lisa Trepanier and Roger Mercier and paternal grandfather, Robert Chute.

A graveside service and interment will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner Street, Auburn, Maine. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
