Lorraine A. (Lefebvre) Higgins

AUBURN – Lorraine A. (Lefebvre) Higgins passed away on March 27, 2024, Auburn, at the age of 87. She was born on Jan. 19, 1937, in Lewiston.

Lorraine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and tending her flower gardens. She graduated from St. Dominic High School class of 1955. Lorraine dedicated herself to her family and career as the Secretary/Treasurer of Higgins Sport Center.

She is survived by her son, John Higgins and his wife Michelle, her daughter, Kathy (Higgins) Jarboe and her husband Bill; three grandchildren, Derek (wife Sierra) and Randi Higgins, Will (wife Justine) Jarboe; and three great-grandchildren, Alexa and Emily Jarboe, Landon Higgins; godson, Peter Rice and wife Maryanne.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Jereomy and Rose (Corriveau) Lefebvre; husband, Larry Higgins; and son, Michael Higgins.

Lorraine was a member of St. Philip Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 2365 Turner Rd., Auburn. Burial at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn will be private.
