The First Universalist Church of West Paris holds services at 9 a.m. on Sundays at the church at 208 Main St.

Music is performed by guitarist Davy Sturtevant.

Refreshments follow the services, which are as follows.

April 7, Earth Day Celebration, led by the church’s worship service committee. A slide show will be part of the service on Bird-Friendly Maple Habitats. Earth Day is on April 22.

April 14, “The Three Most Important Days in The Christian Calendar” led by guest speaker Bruce Tyner.

April 21, church members will join with the South Paris Universalist congregation at 9:30 a.m.

April 28, “Poetry and the Soul,” led by Rodney Abbott, who will talk about how poetry expresses both the silly and the profound in human existence. He is a frequent speaker at the First Universalist Church of West Paris and taught in area schools for decades.
