LEWISTON – Community Concepts, Inc. seeks nominations for its first-ever Paul Gauvreau Legacy Award.

Gauvreau was a CCI board member, Lewiston attorney, and state legislator who served for more than 20 years in the Office of Maine’s Attorney General. Following his death in 2020, CCI worked with the Gauvreau family to launch the Paul Gauvreau Legacy Fund, honoring Gauvreau’s commitment to public service and dedication to helping others, according to a news release from CCI.

With the award, Community Concepts. Inc. looks celebrate an individual serving the Lewiston-Auburn community with that same spirit. The nominee must be serving on a board in the L/A area. Nominations, open through Friday, April 12, can be completed at ccimaine.org.

The award will be presented during the Paul Gauvreau Legacy Event on Thursday, May 16, at the Royal Oak Room in Lewiston. The winner is asked to be present at the event to receive the award.

Sponsorships and tickets are available at CCI’s website.
