LEWISTON – John Anthony Baril, born Nov. 26, 1963, passed peacefully surrounded by family at CMMC on March 28, 2024 after a short illness.

John was born and raised in Lewiston and has spent many years as a resident of Greene with his wife, Tina, after being married on April 14, 1990.

John took great pride in the work he performed at Central Maine Power for almost 41 years. He was exceptionally proud of the friends he made in his coworkers over the years.

During John’s time off from work he enjoyed fishing Allen Pond with whoever wanted to join him, playing on his tractor, buying four wheelers and toys for his grandkids, or simply sitting on the deck with Tina and whoever stopped by. John was the type of guy to never say no. If you needed him for anything, he was there.

Throughout Johns 60 years of life, there were many things he was proud of but the one thing he took the greatest pride in, was his children.

John leaves behind his loving wife, Tina Baril; sons Joshua Baril, his children Beckett, Boston, and Bella; Kyle Baril and wife Porsche their children Lilah, Ivorie, and Jupiter; granddaughter, Brystal Constantino and her father, Anthony Constantino; loving mother, Jayne Lepage; siblings Susan Wyman, Beth Baril, Jeffrey Baril, Chuck Lepage and Julie Howe; stepmother, Jean Baril and her children Donna, Jolene, and Mark. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles; cousins; and in-laws.

John was predeceased by his loving daughter, Ashley Baril on Jan, 16, 2023; his father, Richard Baril, his stepfather, Ernest Lepage; as well as a few beloved pets Smokey, Jedi, and Buster Brown.

Services for John will be held at East Auburn Baptist Church, Thursday April 25 at 1 p.m.
