Bunny

I’m sure you’re ready for springtime and warm weather, especially with these awful winter storms we’ve been having. There is a certain someone who is especially looking forward to warm weather. Her name is Bunny, Bunny the Cat. Bunny is around 6 to 8 years old and came to Responsible Pet Care in September 2023 as a surrender when her owner couldn’t provide care for her.

We thought she might have been injured. She seemed to have trouble standing up and showed no interest in walking a lot. However, upon further examination, we believe she has arthritis in her hind legs. Although she doesn’t move around much, it doesn’t stop Bunny from enjoying life. She sleeps on her memory foam pad in her cage, and each morning we lay down a blanket on the floor so she can stretch her legs.

Bunny is quite the chatty girl, she loves to meow at you if you’re walking by to get your attention, so you’ll pat her. She doesn’t care much for other animals, but she could live with them if she could have her own space. We have yet to see her jump or run, so Bunny would do best in a small home, with easy access to her food and litter. Everyone who visits RPC falls in love with Bunny. I mean, how could you not? She has a wonderful personality. She loves head rubs, chin scratches, and kneading on her bed.
