AUBURN — Phoenix No Limits Karate is hosting the 2024 A/L Valley Karate tournament is happening on June 8 at Central Maine Community College. This is an open tournament which means all styles of martial arts are welcome to participate.
There will be divisions for ages two and up. There will also be divisions for both children and adults with special needs. Competitors can choose up to three events including Kata (Forms), Weapons Kata, flag sparring, continuous sparring and Self-Defense. There will also be a special performance by the Phoenix demonstration team.
Food concessions will be available throughout the day. This event is organized by Phoenix No Limits Karate which is a non-profit organization located in Auburn.
The proceeds from this event will support its youth after school and summer leadership programs. Sponsorship from local businesses are greatly appreciated with levels ranging from $100 to $1000 and the donation is tax deductible.
