Winners of a regional typing contest held recently at the Auburn Maine School of Commerce under the auspices of the Maine Association of Business Educators were Judy Hazelton, Oxford Hills High School, first place; Susan Phillips, Morse High School, second place; Diane Fournier of Edward Little High School, first runner up; Mary Perkins, Leavitt High School, second runner up; and Bonita St. Denis, Lewiston Comprehensive High School, third place.

Clowns, Les Bridges, “Beppo,” and Tim Gerry, “Doodles” work the crowds at the Kora Shrine Circus at the Central Maine Civic Center in Lewiston Friday night. The circus continues today.
