Smith, the founder and executive director of Healthy Homeworks, says the group is planning to purchase 20 additional units in the next two and a half years. “The buildings have to be new, which means after 1900,” Smith said. “And they have to be stacked. We don’t want any weird rooflines, and they have to have off-street parking.” Each unit in the Howard Street Condos has additional storage space and a private outdoor deck.
