NORWAY — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library are accepting donations of used books for their summer book sales at Norway Memorial Library, 258 Main Street, Norway beginning Tuesday, April 16. Book donations are accepted until Saturday, May 11. On May 11, donations should delivered between 9 a.m. and noon to the Gingerbread House, 500 Main Street in Norway.

Donations should be securely boxed, clean, gently used, hardcover, and paperback fiction and non-fiction for children and adults. Please do not include Readers Digest condensed books, book club editions, encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, or audio or video materials. Please no books with torn covers or pages, books that have been written in, or items that are stained and mildewed.

Summer book sale dates are the second Saturdays of each month, May through August: May 11, June 8, July 13, and August 10, from 9 a.m. to noon. Hours on Saturday, July 13, are extended to 2 p.m. Sales are held outside on the lawn of the Gingerbread House located at 500 Main Street in Norway, directly across from Pleasant Street. Parking is available in the public lot on Water Street.
