Cassidy Hutchinson, former White House aide for Donald Trump, who testified against him at the hearings of the United States House Select Committee on the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, recently stated: “Policy is important, but, especially in this period in American history, character takes (precedence) over policy positions.”
Now ponder this evil advice the infamous New York attorney, Roy Cohn, gave Trump, his client and protege, decades ago: “Deflect and distract, never give in, never admit, lie and attack, publicity no matter what, win no matter what.”
It’s been his M.O. ever since.
On top of that, I regard Trump as a colossal egomaniac, a demagogue resolved on dictatorship, a polarizer, avenger, swindler, sexist, xenophobe, rapist, pretended victim, book-phobic know-it-all, insulter of America’s war dead and a breathtakingly bogus Christian who’s deceived believers by the million.
He’s irredeemably corrupt, a clear and present danger to the whole free world.
