AUBURN — The annual Androscoggin Watershed Conference is set for 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, at the Auburn Senior Community Center on Pettengill Park Road.

Melanie Loyzim, commissioner of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, will give the keynote address.

Sessions include “Threats to Our Lakes, Including Lake Auburn,” “Flow Regime of the Androscoggin River, Including Impacts of Climate Change,” “Impacts of Climate Change on Outdoor Recreation,” “Student Work on Lake Auburn, Sabattus Pond,” “Stream Quality in the Upper Watershed,” and “Historic and Current Water Quality of the Androscoggin River.”
