Teacher Kristie Ferland followed in her mother’s footsteps and has kept the program going each spring for the past 13 years. Her mother taught at Minot Consolidated School and ran the same program for many years before retiring. Students gave their trout names such as Jmall, Dilynne Junior, Pizza Junior, Ophuichius and Bob.
