The Maine Pottery Tour is set for Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, throughout the state.

This self-guided tour features more than 70 pottery studios, the largest tour to date, across the state which will open their doors, welcoming visitors to step into the world of handcrafted ceramics.

The tour offers participants a chance to meet the artists and chat with potters and gain insights into their creative process and inspiration. Studios will offer demonstrations of throwing on the wheel, glazing techniques, and the kiln process.

The Maine Pottery Tour website provides downloadable maps and links to interactive online maps. New this year is the Plan My Tour app, which will make it easier for visitors to plan their pottery road trip.
