Heart-felt blues singer Mary Murphy will start the “Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the Gazebo music series with her performance from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, at the gazebo in Turner.

Singing to your soul, Maine singer-songwriter Mary Murphy accompanies herself on piano, guitar and blues harp. She connects with her audience while performing a variety of original music and covers from classical to blues and most everything in-between. Her audiences have ranged from Maine to South Carolina and beyond.

Murphy has three albums available digitally and CDs of her most recent album, “Stubborn,” will be available at the concert.

The show will go on rain or shine. Bring a chair, a blanket, and a friend. We pass the hat to pay the musicians. Suggested donation $10. For more information, call 207-754-0954 or 207-240-4591 or visit the Music for Mavis page on Facebook. The gazebo is located off Route 117 near the Turner Public Library at 98 Mathews Way, Turner.
