BETHEL — The Telstar Middle School Baseball team played their season opening game against Day Mountain Middle School and defeated them 24-0. Maceo Bartlett and Silas Wills combined the pitching for the Rebels and struck out 7 & not giving up any hits. Luke Mowery, Owen Beaten, and Maceo Bartlett hit doubles for the hitting attack, while Landon McPherson hit two singles and Carter Fortler added a single.

Telstar Middle School then lost a close game to Rangeley 8-6. The error plagued Rebels gave up 4 unearned runs in the 4th inning. The Telstar Rebels never gave up as they scored 5 runs in the last inning of the game. Nick Lapointe led the team in hitting with 2 singles. The team is now 1-1 for the season.

The Telstar MS Baseball team improved to 2-1 with a 20-10 win over Dirigo MS. Maceo Bartlett and Owen Beaten combined for the Rebels pitching and striking out 8 hitters. Luke Mowery, Jack Colby, Aiden Paul, and Xavier Green all hit 2 singles, while Maceo Bartlett hit a triple and a single and Bradley Campbell and Carter Fortier added a double each.
