WEST PARIS — The first hummingbirds, the bursting buds on trees, May flowers appear in the soft mosses, the woodstove gets a break. These and so much more are May’s blessings. Let us give thanks and rejoice in nature’s gifts this Sunday. Join us at 9 a.m. Music performed by guitarist, Davy Sturtevant. All are welcome. Refreshments following the services.

May 5, “Statistics You Can Count On” (from Daniel 2:16-19), led by guest speaker, Pastor Ray Christman. “We recently moved from Pennsylvania and now live in Woodstock, where I serve as the pastor of the Woodstock Seventh-day Adventist Church. My background includes pastoral ministry, school administration, and hospital & hospice chaplaincy. My wife (Karie) and I have one son Benjamin (14) and two nieces Kayla (26) & Haley (24) who are in college. We love meeting new people and look forward to connecting more with folks in the West Paris community.

May 12, “Not to Condemn” led by guest speaker, The Rev. William “Scott” Campbell, who has led services at our church many times.

May 19, “Mom, a week later” led by guest speaker, Bob Neal, who has led many services at our church, and who is well known from his column in the Sun Journal, The Countryman.

May 26, “Maine Poems ~ Balm for the Soul” led by Jennifer Wixson. “Jennifer shares some of her favorite poems from Mainers over the years. These inspirational poems not only provide solace and inspiration but also bring us one step closer to the divine.”
