Ralph Dunn and his wife, Karen, clean up their yard Thursday while their dog, Duke, watches in Sumner. Ralph, a licensed forester, said he expects they will spend about a month on their days off from work cleaning up the debris from winter. “It will take four or five whole days working on it,” he said. He oversees timber harvests on smaller woodlots and said a fair amount of what he is doing this year has been salvaging blowdown and broken trees.  Andree Kehn/Sun Journal
