NORWAY — The Western Foothills Land Trust is set to host Nomad Trail Race Series, at the trust’s Farm to Town trail system.
This monthly 3.1-mile trail running race features a moderately challenging and scenic route along the Lunch Trail, spanning from downtown Norway to Roberts Farm Preserve.
Sponsored by Café Nomad, the races are held at 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month from May through October, with the first race set for May 16.
Runners of all ages and speeds can sign up for all six races in advance for $50, or sign up for individual races at $10 each. On-site registration is available for $15 per race.
Students in School Administrative District 17 can participate for $5 per race. Each month, the top three men’s and women’s racers receive fun prizes, including gift cards to Café Nomad.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
