The organizers of the sale welcome plant donations from area gardens. The only request is that they arrive potted and labeled. We also hope area gardeners with a planting spot to fill will check out what we are selling.

For more information, please contact nancylpetersons@gmail.com or 689-7025. Thank you, Ms. Sun Spots, for all the help you have given us in the past. — Nancy, no town

ANSWER: Thank goodness, planting season has finally arrived here in Maine! I did some gardening this afternoon and it elevated my mood considerably! I hope your sale is a great success. I’m sure you’ll have lots of great bargains and many eager customers!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’m looking for a specific set of dominos by Cardinal in a case that contains 55 tiles. The old version has the better tiles that show a strong color on each one (blue for 5, red for 3, pink for 7, etc.) The new dominoes show very pale colors that all look alike and are hard to play with.

If anyone has the old version set that they no longer use, I would be very interested in purchasing it. Please call me at 333-7431. — Cecile, no town

ANSWER: I believe a Sun Spotter will come through for you, but if they don’t try Etsy or eBay online. I saw some nice vintage domino sets when I checked. They may be exactly what you’re looking for.
