As an 85-year-old grandfather I am disappointed in our generation, for not doing our best to leave this world in a better shape.

People are having to work too hard now to make a living. We should be working to live, not living to work.

I wonder about capitalism and the American dream. We are always encouraged to make more and more money to get more and more stuff. What about having enough and being happy?

A living wage would help. I’m concerned about medical care for all. We all deserve it.

We are not meant to be slaves but free human beings. Our lust for power and money and more and more possessions means more and more people are having less and less.

We can’t afford to neglect our environment any more. We all have to do our part to recreate a better environment for all people.

I am very grateful for all the people that really care, but more of us need to help out. I am hopeful for a much better future for all people.
