Anthony “Tony” N. Minigell
AUBURN – Anthony “Tony” N. Minigell, 42, of Allen Avenue, passed away at home on Saturday, May 18, 2024. He was born in Lewiston, on Sept. 15, 1981, a son to Vincent and Katherine Minigell.
He was a graduate of Edward Little High School, the University of Maine (Orono), and -he would claim- the University of Georgia. He formerly worked at L.L. Bean, but was more recently employed at Advanced Fire Protection Services of Minot.
An avid New England sports fan, Tony was a lineman on his high school and college football teams; he also threw shot-put, played both baseball and, later, slow-pitch softball, and enjoyed golf and mini golf. A talented artist, Tony loved drawing and painting; he also enjoyed cooking, building, and playing board, card, and video games.
He is survived by his parents; his partner Katrina Guiggey and their son Vincent, sister Laura and wife Kristi Cucchi of Lewiston, and sister Nicole of Medford, Mass.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday June 2 at The Fortin Group Funeral Home located at 305 Alfred A Plourde Parkway in Lewiston.
His family is asking that friends and family share memories of Tony. You may offer your condolences or share your memories at http://www.lynchbrothers.com
In lieu of flowers,
requests that contributions be made to: Vincent’s 529 education plan
