POLAND — The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot, and Poland is proud to announce its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipient for May. Hailey Caron, an 8th grader at Bruce Whittier Middle School, is described by her teachers and principal as a quiet but strong student with a tenacious determination and competitiveness to succeed.
She is a hard worker who stays positive and focused with grit, perseverance, creativity, and curiosity. Her smile makes people feel like they matter; she will work with anyone to get a job done with an open mind and an open heart. Congratulations, Hailey!
