The vast majority of letters of support for a candidate (any office) indicate that she or he will fight for us. I hope I am not being too sensitive, but given the culture of today, I’d prefer to elect candidates who are willing to find consensus in order to move us forward.
“Fight” sounds impressive, but it gets us nowhere. The candidates I support this election will be those who can work together in order to find solutions.
The fighting and bickering on both sides accomplishes nothing.
