ANDOVER — An amateur photgraphy contest will be held during Andover Olde Home Days on Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. until noon.
The six Categories will be Portrait, Landscape, Black and white, Flowers, Birds & Animals, and the 2024 AOHD Theme ‘Hunting, fishing, camping! Oh my!’
There are two age groups for each category: 15 and under and 16 and older.
There will be a limit of three entries per person, per category. The same photo may not be used for multiple categories.
The entrant’s name, category, and age group must be listed on the back of each photo entered.
There will be a first, second, and third prize ribbon for each category and each age group, along with some honorable mentions.
There will also be a Grand Prize Ribbon for Best in Show, and an Angelo Kaltsos Award Ribbon for most unique/creative.
Drop-off times will be:
• Wednesday, July 31 from noon to 4 p.m.
• Thursday, August 1 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.
• Friday, August 2 from 10 a.m.-noon (deadline – judging will take place on Friday)
You can pick up your photos between Noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday after the showing.
