NORWAY — Our local Dragon Boat Club announces its 2024 Season: June-September
- The first paddle will be on Sunday, June 2
- Free Community Paddles (no reservations required at this time), Sundays and Tuesdays – 5:30-7:30 p.m.-Skills and Drills
Introduction to Dragon Boating. On-land paddling and safety instructions before going in the boat. Strokes, working as a team, drills, and strength will be worked on in the boat.
- Recreational Paddle Thursday-5:30-7:30 p.m.
Introduction to Dragon Boating. On-land paddling and safety instructions before going in the boat. A leisurely paddle on Norway Lake.
- Proposed Competition Team, Mondays 5-7 p.m. and Wednesdays 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Coaches: Steve and Linda Bond are certified coaches who will introduce you to the sport of competitive Dragon Boating, to form a team with the goal of racing. Designed to increase overall fitness, improve mental health, make friends, and be part of a team. Beginners are welcome! This program cost is $100 for June 15-September 15.
