Sharon Orchard

NORWAY – Sharon Orchard passed away on May 13, 2024, at The Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation, after a long illness.

She was such a loving and caring person who cherished everyone who entered her home. She welcomed all into her corner with open arms and wholeheartedly and unselfishly gave to those around her. Her memory will live in our hearts every day and we can find comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain. May she rest in peace and love upon the reunification with her mother, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that have gone before her.

She was born on Dec. 1, 1956, to Russell and Margaret (Bressette) Winship, in Freeport.

She is survived by her father, Russell Winship; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Shirley Winship; son, Aaron Orchard, daughter, April (Orchard) Rumery; grandchildren Christin Foster, Katherine Williams and Erik Thomas Williams; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and cousins.

There will be a graveside service at the Craige Cemetery, 8 King St., Oxford, ME 04270 on Saturday, June 15 at 11 a.m.
