Sandra L. Morris

BRUNSWICK – Sandra L. Morris, 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family after a brief battle with cancer. Born on June 16, 1951, in Farmington, Sandra was the daughter of Paul and Nancy (Gay) Bibeau. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1969 and pursued a career in nursing, earning her LPN certification from Central Maine Vocational Technical Institute in Auburn. On her birthday, June 16, 1973, she married Barry Morris at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2023. Sandra dedicated 26 years to nursing at Marcotte Nursing Home and d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. She also served the County of Androscoggin for 27 years, initially as a dispatcher and later in the District Attorney’s Office. A lover of animals, avid reader, and passionate about crafts, football, and auto racing, Sandra also volunteered for many years at Wiscasset Speedway and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Barry Morris of Livermore Falls; her son, Jamie Morris and his wife Yulia of Riverside, Calif.; and her brothers, Larry Bibeau and his wife Donna of Livermore, Dan Bibeau and his wife Ellen of Phillips, Rick Bibeau of Austin, Texas and Randy Bibeau and his wife Amylynn of Livermore. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2024, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visiting hours will be from 1-2 p.m. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 100 Fayette Road, Livermore Falls, Maine. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
