Diane V. Howe

BUCKFIELD – Diane V. Howe, 71, of Buckfield, passed peacefully at her home on June 10, 2024.

Diane was born in Portland, on Jan. 5, 1953, to Stephen T. and Shirley J. Greenlaw, and attended Portland area schools.

In July 1972 she married her soulmate, and together built their life in Buckfield, where they raised their children. Living happily in love until her husband’s death in 2017.

Diane is survived by her children, Terrylynn Strout and husband Donny of Oxford, David Howe and wife Melissa of Buckfield, Tracey McKinney and husband Jeffrey of Buckfield, Debra Howe of Phoenix, Ariz., Deanna Curtin and husband Timothy of Jacksonville, Fla., Kevin Howe of Westbrook, Christina Howe of Portland. Brother’s Thomas Greenlaw of Cumberland, Berton Greenlaw of Hebron, Wayne Greenlaw of Buckfield. Sister, Gloria Sawyer of Dixfield. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and her very best friends Carol and Jim Dunn.

She is predeceased by her parents, Her beloved husband James E. Howe, Sr. Sons, James Howe Jr, and Michael J. Howe. Grandson Matthew v. Howe Sisters, Beverly Aspiras, Rosemary Lerman, Patricia Small.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
