Maurice R. Bisson

LEWISTON – Maurice R Bisson, 85, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the Androscoggin Hospice House with family by his side.

Maurice was born on Oct. 9, 1938, a son to Helon Omar and Emillien Bisson.

On May 18, 1963, he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Cloutier.

He is survived by his wife Jackie; his son Danny, his daughters Sandy (Don Medeiros) and Tracy Roy. He also leaves behind his nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his brother Don and his sisters Dolly Couture, Lucille Grenier and Susan Lessard (Paul).

He was predeceased by his parents; his son David; and his brother Roger.

Per the family’s request, there will be no visitation at this time. A Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul in the upper church will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., followed by Committal Prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
