Joan R. Beaudoin

LEWISTON – Joan R. Beaudoin, 88, a resident of Russell Park Rehabilitation and Living Center in Lewiston, passed away June 23, 2024, with family by her side after a very long illness.

She was born June 26, 1935, a daughter of Armand and Regina Poulin.

She enjoyed working the counter at the local store and also liked to crochet. She especially loved going on rides with her son, John, where she was his special navigator on their many attempts to get lost in Maine. She would call them adventures and enjoyed the rides with pure joy.

She grew up in the Lewiston area. She married Henry Beaudoin on April 2, 1957, and they raised their family in the Lewiston area.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a son, Rodney D. Beaudoin, a stepson, Leo Beaudoin, a stepdaughter, Diane Beaudoin; a sister, Jeanine Foster, and a brother, Robert Poulin.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Beaudoin and wife Anita of Alaska, John Beaudoin and wife Shirley of Randolph, and Randy Beaudoin and wife Linda of Sabattus; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was very special and loved by all.

At her request, there will be no visitation services. The family will hold a private graveside gathering at a future date.
