PORTLAND – Patricia N. Collins, 78, of Livermore passed away

Friday, June 28th at Maine Medical Center in Portland, from complications of heart surgery. She was born February 6, 1946, in Augusta, the daughter of Howard E. Vinal and Josie N. (Ash) Vinal. She was a 1964 graduate of Hall-Dale High School. On September 26, 1964, in Hallowell, she married Richard A. Collins. They enjoyed 33 years together, before his passing on June 29, 1998. Patricia worked as a special education teacher for SAD #52 in Turner. She was one of the original members of the Up-Country Artist Club, she was also a member of the North Livermore Baptist Church. Pat was a very talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing, as well as flower and vegetable gardening. She loved teaching art to children and traveling to Lubec with her friends. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Ouellette and husband Rick of Livermore, Shelly Longevin and husband Wayne of Wilton and Holly Dubord and husband Mark of Livermore, her son Rick Collins and wife Chris of Livermore, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, her sister, Debbie Monroe and husband Lloyd of Gardiner, sisters-in-law, Donna Baker and husband Ken and Deanna Boynton and husband Robert all of Chelsea, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM, Monday, July 8th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, July 9th at North Livermore Baptist Church, 619 Federal Road, Livermore, Maine. Interment Lakeside Cemetery, Federal Road, Livermore, Maine then a luncheon will be supplied by members of the North Livermore Baptist Church at the church after the interment.
