Bruce V. Littlefield

AUBURN – Bruce Vernon Littlefield, 72, of 147 Washington St. in Auburn, died July 2, 2024 following a period of declining health and a stroke.

Mr. Littlefield was born in Augusta, grew up in Auburn. He attended Edward Little High School, Springfield College and University of Maine – Orono.

He was a hard-working man with a varied lifetime of interests and causes. He was a beloved brother and son, a good friend and animal lover. Bruce was an avid reader, did crossword puzzles every day and enjoyed landscaping work. He followed his Boston Teams – in all their ups and downs – Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots.

Bruce was the son of the late Elaine B. Littlefield and Charles S. Littlefield, Jr.; and the grandson of the late Marion E. and Louis V. Baraby. Mr. Littlefield was predeceased by his brother, Scott.

Mr. Littlefield is survived by his sisters Anne L. Littlefield and Jean A. Littlefield and his sister-in-law, Vickie L. Gammon, all living in Maine.

The family sends special thanks and appreciation to Androscoggin Hospice House (Andwell) for their amazing care and compassion.

A private committal will be held at a later date.
