Lillian Grace Wright
JAY – Lillian Grace Wright, 94, of Jay, died peacefully early Sunday morning at the family farm in Jay.
She was born in Dover-Foxcroft, Aug. 29, 1929, a daughter of Chester and Hester (Pratt) Knowles. She worked at local shoe shops during her life and enjoyed quilting and going to the VFW Hall in Jay on Friday evenings for dinner, music, and dancing.
She is survived by her son, Larry of Jay; a sister, Ruth Meisner (Hubert) of Farmington; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donna, son-in-law, Lloyd Latham, and son-in-law, Richard Packard, all of Jay.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis B. Wright on Nov. 20, 1989; daughter, Barbie, daughter, Linda Latham, son, Dennis and daughter, Debbie Packard; a sister, Janette Knowles and a brother, Arthur.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday July 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Rd., Jay. Graveside committal services will follow at Birchland Cemetery , Route 17, Jay at 3 p.m. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at http://www.wilesrc.com.
