Norman M. Keith Jr.

WESTBROOK – Norman M. Keith Jr., 89, passed away on Saturday June 29, 2024, at the Springbrook nursing home. He was born July 7th, 1934, in Auburn, a son of Norman and Dorthy (Swift) Keith. Normand graduated from Mechanic Falls high school, then went on to join the United States Navy proudly serving our country during the Koren War abord the U.S.S. Yorktown.

After the Navy he went to school to learn Metal Working (Tin Knocking) where he spent his career until his retirement. Norman was an avid outdoors man; he would often be fond hunting and fishing.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Norman Keith and Dorothy Thomas, Stepfather Rexford Thomas, his brothers James Asa and Rexford Thomas, and Kenneth Thomas, sisters Elizabeth Thomas, and Dorothy Gagne.

He leaves to cherish is memory his children Charles and Ronda Keith, sisters Beverly Day and her husband Brent of Standish: Marion Gagnon and her husband Raymond of Poland and sister Nancy Pulsifer of North Dakota. He also leaves his three grandchildren: along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday July 16, 2024, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with a funeral service at 1 p.m., at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls, burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery in West Minot.
